In the deceitfulness of such as defrauded him, she stood by him, and made him rich. She saved him from the enemies, and defended him from the deceivers. She made him strong in battle and gave him victory, that he might know, how that wisdom is stronger than all things. When the righteous was sold, she forsook him not, but delivered him from sinners. She went down with him into the dungeon and failed him not in the bands: till she had brought him the scepter of the realm, and power against those that oppressed him. As for them that had accused him, she declared them to be liars, and brought him to perpetual worship.
